Worship at St. Thomas
St. Thomas is a dynamic congregation dedicated to worshiping the Lord in a variety of formats. We believe that worship is our response to the amazing grace granted to us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Come and join us for the many worship opportunities throughout the year.
Weekly Worship Services
8:00 a.m. — Join us for our contemporary service where we use a variety of instruments to express praise to our God. We also hear wonderful messages that are based on the truths of Scripture; these sermons seek to inspire us to follow after our Lord.
10:30 a.m. — At this service, we share together in a variety of hymns written throughout the church’s varied history. Our choirs also lead us with their amazing talents. In addition, we hear sermons that are Biblically inspired, pointing us toward following after Jesus.
Children’s Church occurs during the 10:30 a.m. service. Children leave the sanctuary immediately following the Children’s Sermon to go to Children’s Church. All children in Kindergarten through Grade 6 are welcome. Bring your Bible!
Throughout the year, we are blessed to share worship with other churches in our community. Frieden’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (Bernville), North Heidelberg Church (between Bernville and Robesonia), and St. Paul’s Church (New Schaefferstown) join together with us as we celebrate our Lord.
Lent Services: On the five Wednesdays of Lent (excluding Ash Wednesday and Holy Week) we join together to contemplate our Savior’s sacrifice on the cross.
Thanksgiving Eve Service: At this service we join together to celebrate the grace of God in our lives and offer Him thanksgiving.
